At The Institute for Health and Wellness, we are committed to making high-quality lab testing both accessible and affordable for patients in Wilmington, North Carolina, and across the United States. We partner with trusted lab providers to offer some of the most competitive pricing available, whether you use our in-office services or access testing through LabCorp nationwide.

For Local Patients (Wilmington, NC)
In-Office Lab (Self-Pay)
Our goal is to eliminate the uncertainty of insurance billing so you can get the answers you need without the risk of surprise costs.
Accu Reference Medical Lab (Insurance Billing Option)
Accu Reference is our in-office lab partner that can submit claims directly to your insurance provider.
Important Note
Many insurance companies consider our wellness panels not medically necessary, which can lead to denied claims and high out-of-pocket charges. If you prefer predictable pricing and peace of mind, we recommend using our self-pay option.
For Non-Local Patients
Lab Requisitions via LabCorp
We offer nationwide lab access through LabCorp using prepaid requisitions.
No payment or insurance is needed at the time of your blood draw.
The requisition is billed to our business account and prepaid when created.
You will receive your requisition in your Charm Patient Portal within 24 hours.
You may print the requisition or show it on the Charm app when you arrive at LabCorp.
Your requisition is routed to a LabCorp location near the billing address on file.
This option allows patients outside of our area to complete lab testing without the risk of surprise billing or insurance issues.
